Expert Corner: Youth Unemployment and Unemployability Round Table Discussion

The Expert Corner on 23 May 2023 at the Southern Sun in Sandton (previously known as the Holiday Inn) tackled the thorny question of youth unemployment in South Africa. Professor Steven Friedman, a “self-confessed academic” and political scientist from the University of Johannesburg gave the keynote address followed by presentations from Cell C, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Old Mutual Insure and Coca Cola, among others.

Karen Moss – Leading Women In CSI – Month of June 2023

In 2005, Karen was confronted with a traumatic event that would change the course of her life and impact the lives of others, including specialists in the medical fraternity.  Her son was born with a congenital birth defect, clubfoot, where tendons attaching the muscle to bone are shorter than usual causing the foot to point downwards and inwards.
